Meet James

Residential Real Estate has always been a part of James Schalich’s Life. Born to a Builder and Contract Admin, James spent majority of his adolescence building spec homes with his father, which helped him discover his passion for Real Estate at a young age. Building homes while watching his father grow a reputation-first business forged James into the Real Estate Professional that he is today. James strives to make every client feel comfortable when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their life through his ease of conversation on hard topics and professional approach to buying a home.

With a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly S.L.O. in Construction Management, James spent his early 20s working for Residential, Commercial, and Heavy Civil Builders. Throughout his early career he understood how important the relationship is with the client. Transparency and Honesty were always placed at the forefront of every major decision. He carried this with him as he began his Real Estate career. James acquired his license in 2017 and has put his skills to the test. Clients love James for his background, detailed approach to each escrow, and the weight he bares for everyone that he has the pleasure of representing.

James enjoys the simple things: hiking in Marin, backpacking every summer, spending time with his wife, and making home-made pizzas. He always tries to put himself in someone else’s shoes and wears that wholeheartedly. As a 4^th generation Californian, he looks forward to continuing to grow his roots in gorgeous Marin County.
